85302 HO PRR K4 Dcc Snd Pennsylvania Railroad
This Bachmann Streamlined Class K4 4-6-2 Pacific with sound and DCC captures the sleek looks of the prototype. Designed by the Pennsylvania Railroad in 1936 as a modification to its numerous K4s, the shroud was nicknamed "The Torpedo" by train crews. Ultimately only a few K4s received streamlining, but all were used on the Broadway Limited and other high-profile trains. This ready-to-run model features excellent detail, a completely hidden drive train, working headlight and many separately applied parts. This sound-equipped locomotive comes with the TCS WOWSound(R) CD-quality 16-bit 44,100Hz decoder with Audio Assist(R) for easy configuration without programming CVs as well as a Keep-Alive(R) device for uninterrupted operation, even over dirty track. It features a WOWSound steam locomotive sound package that includes bell, whistle, blow down, cylinder cocks, water fill, coupler close/release, brake release and application, momentum, grade crossing quill, departing and arriving station announcements, and more. It is a dual-mode decoder which allows limited sound functions on standard DC layouts. This Streamlined Class K4 4-6-2 Pacific also features engine and tender electrical pickup and E-Z Mate(R) Mark II knuckle couplers on the pilot and tender. It performs best on 22" or larger radius curves.
