N Scale

This 70’ heavyweight horse car is painted Pullman Green with gold lettering and black roof and runs on 6-wheel passenger trucks.  Heavyweight horse cars were designed to transport valuable livestock between race tracks and training facilities during the 20s and 30s.  During WW2 they moved cavalry units, acted as early auto transport cars, and then, as they transitioned with lightweight cars, became express baggage cars.
