This 3-bay covered hopper is aluminum with red and black lettering and runs on Barber Roller Bearing trucks. Built in 1967, this 4,750 cubic-foot covered hopper belonged to Class CH-90-13 and continued in service through the mid-1980s. With a 263,000-pound gross weight, this car was used for transporting lightweight granular commodities. Today, Union Pacific is still one of the largest Class 1 Railroads with over 32,000 miles of track.
