This 39’ single dome tank car is black with white lettering and runs on Archbar trucks. Built in April 1920,
this car was owned and operated by the W.J. McCahan Sugar Refining Company based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This 50-ton, non-insulated car had an 8,105 gallon capacity. The W.J. McCahan Company was founded in 1892, and in 1944 was sold to the American Sugar Refining Company.
